Job Description:

The Data Coordinator serves as a part of the organization’s operations team and assists Buffalo County Community Partner coalitions to ensure effective planning and efficient data tracking systems for multiple coalitions and Planning and Measurement Committee.
Major Accountabilities
  1. Performs work with a positive attitude that reflects sensitivity and commitment to serving the needs of a diverse organization.Performs all other duties as assigned.
  1. Supports the work of Buffalo County Community Partners by embracing collaboration and partnership building reaching out to volunteers as a customer centered team member working toward Buffalo County 2020 Vision.
  1. Hours of work include 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  2. Work with Director to track data needed for well-being indicators within the Buffalo County 2020 Vision.
  3. Work with the Director to plan, maintain and implement community health assessment data collection and reporting.
  4. Support the work of coalitions by attending meetings as needed to provide technical assistance to coalitions developing logic models and strategic planning.
  1. Provide administrative functions for coalitions, as assigned.
  1. Work to understand and integrate community efforts to meet the goals of the 2020 Vision.
  1. Serve as a part of a customer service team to the volunteers and donors by answering phones, taking messages, greeting customers, and making referrals.

Job Requirements:

  1. Willingness to maintain the standards, carry out the purpose, and adhere to the policies of Buffalo County Community Partners, including federal, state and local grant policies and HIPPA requirements.
  2. Some college required, with experience in math and/or statistical analysis.
  3. Ability to prioritize work, and meet deadlines as required.
  1. Knowledge of evidence-based strategies, logic model development, strategic planning, and importance of trauma informed care.
  2. Experience in data driven decisions, working in groups, community facilitation, Microsoft Office programs (Excel) and willingness to learn data tracking software.
  3. Ability to travel locally, in-state and out-of-state. Vehicle and valid driver’s license for work related travel. Carry at least $300,000 in automobile liability coverage.
This work necessarily involves sitting for extended periods of time, looking at computer monitor and typing on keyboard.
This work may also involve lifting and carrying boxes and other loads of up to approximately 25 pounds.
