Job Description:

Are you interested in a challenging and rewarding leadership career? DSN-Lincoln is currently accepting applications for a full-time Front Line Supervisor (FLS) to oversee the Cheever View Location. This specific position requires 22 hours of direct support and 18 hours of Admin time.

The Cheever View location consists of 4 apartments where 7 gentlemen live.

These gentlemen enjoy fishing, grilling out and staying active in the community.

Currently, they are enjoying learning about nutrition and are practicing healthy eating.

Under the direction of the Residential Coordinator, the Front Line Supervisor will lead a team of Direct Support Professionals to ensure all needs are met for the individuals receiving supports.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Hiring, supervision, training, and development of location direct support staff. - Coordination and evaluation of the location - Ensuring accountability and quality -Developing and maintaining individual support programming - Providing direct care for individuals at location.

Job Requirements:

Candidates that are qualified for this position will possess strong supervisory and motivational skills, experience in program development and needs assessment, outstanding leadership ability and a creative approach to difficult situations. You must have outstanding communication and a supportive personality, a strong work ethic, and extensive knowledge pertaining to people supported in a human services setting. Experience in developing behavior building programs and quality assurance is essential. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education, Rehabilitation, or related Social or Behavioral Science field. Any candidate must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience with persons with developmental disabilities and sufficient experience in individualized program development.

Job requirements include a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and the ability to transport individuals in services safely. Candidates must have the ability to work in a Human Service setting with favorable background screens, including of Nebraska State Patrol Sex Offender Registry, Adult and Child Protective Services and Criminal History Record. This position is primarily Monday through Friday, however will require some evenings and rotating on-call weekends. Salary offered will be based on education and experience.
