We have an opening for an Extended Family Home (EFH) Specialist, working with individuals and families that are providing care to children and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.  The EFH Specialist will work as a member of a treatment team who will develop and write behavior programs for the purpose of management of maladaptive behaviors. The EFH Specialist is responsible for building rapport with, supporting, and supervising the Extended Family Home.  Additional job duties include data collection and analysis, writing Functional Behavior Assessments, communication with schools, vocational day services, service coordination, mental health professionals, and other team members. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, utilize time management skills effectively, and good organization skills. Under the supervision of the Director of Intensive In-Home Services and the Intensive In-Home Supervisor, and working cooperatively with Omni Administration, this therapist will function as the therapist for each client/family assigned. The therapist will perform technical tasks in the area of assessment, treatment monitoring, skill training, and data management in the home or community setting. The position requires the individual to assess, develop, and implement intensive treatment services to individuals and families with socioeconomic issues and mental illness.
