Job Summary

This position is a 1099 contractor. Omaha Integrative Care is an established and respected health care facility, including an established panel of clients, flexible scheduling and integrative health benefits.

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Omaha Integrative Care reports directly to the Psychiatric Team Lead and Executive Director and will be responsible for initial assessments and ongoing psychiatric care, which may include brief or collaborative psychotherapy.  This position collaborates closely with all team members including, but not limited to medical, mental health, and integrative health practitioners.

A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for a full range of care to be provided, including: assessment, diagnosis, plan of care and implementation of treatment. Our approach is holistic and integrative, incorporating both western and eastern modalities, and puts the patient and provider relationship at the center of treatment.


Percentage based reimbursements

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess a valid license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Nebraska
  • Must be able to function independently while still contributing and collaborating to the integrative team
  • Preferred experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR). Athena is a plus
  • Must be DEA certified
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of products

Degree Requirements

  • Masters degree or higher in nursing
  • Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
