OVERVIEW OF JOB
As our Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) Therapist you will implement therapy with young offenders and young people with complex behavioral problems to develop appropriate specialized treatment plans of care. As an MST Therapist you will provide comprehensive MST treatment to each family that is individualized and family-centered. You will provide MST services to youth. Develop multi systemic formulations of presenting problems or situations that integrate information from assessments within a coherent framework and which draws upon multi systematic theory and incorporate interpersonal, societal, cultural, and biological factors. Evaluate and make decisions about treatment options in line with MST principles. Implement MST therapy, ensuring adherence to the model. Participate in ongoing case reviews involving a multi-disciplinary approach. Meet with families and children at various locations; utilize own vehicle to travel to work destinations and to transport youth as authorized. Provide therapy notes, treatment plans, and other documentation in accordance with MST protocol.
