Job Description

Job Purpose:To provide community treatment aide service to individuals and families involved in mental health therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Service Delivery

∞ Provide direct services to children and families referred to the CTA Program by the child's therapist.

∞ Work under the guidance of the therapist and program coordinator to implement the objectives of the CTA Treatment Plan.

∞ Support and guide parents in implementation of treatment plan while recognizing they are an important part of treatment planning.

∞ Teach skills necessary to both parents and children in order to achieve the goals outlined in the mental health treatment plan to include topics such as: social skill building, problem solving, appropriate parenting, anger management, and appropriate boundaries.

∞ Provide services to the families in their own home or within the community and at times that are convenient for them.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology or other mental health related field Required and at least one year experience working with children and/or families.

*Trainings for new hires are during daytime hours.

*CTA hours require late afternoon/evening and weekend
