Mental Health Security Specialist II play a vital role in the care of patients at Lincoln Regional Center. They will work directly with the adult patient population to ensure not only safety of the individuals served but provide a safe and therapeutic living environment as well. The responsibilities of this position also include encouraging participation in treatment, modeling appropriate interactions, documentation of efforts or areas of concern, and may be required to transport patients using a state car.

LINCOLN REGIONAL CENTER WILL HAVE AN ON-SITE CAREER FAIR ON THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2019 FROM 3:00PM - 5:00PM. Please join us for the LRC Arbor Day Festival and Career Fair. This event will take place in the beautiful LRC state arboretum where we will plant trees in memory of previous employees in celebration of Arbor Day from 1pm to 3pm. Immediately following the Arbor Day Festival we will be holding an on-site career fair in the Administration Building from 3pm - 5pm where you can learn more about available positions, complete on-site interviews for the Mental Health Security Specialist II position, and complete walking tours of the LRC campus. Event Address: Lincoln Regional Center, 801 W. Prospector Place, Lincoln, NE 68522 - Building 9/Administration Building. Arbor Day Festival 1pm - 3pm and Career Fair 3pm - 5pm.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 19 years of age to work with adult client populations and possess a valid driver's license or independent authorized transportation. PREFERRED: One year or more combined experience or education in human services, customer service, or military service. OTHER: Must be able to attend and complete four (4) weeks of New Employee Orientation, attendance during this time is mandatory. Must be able to work a shift assignment which includes weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
