Affinity Community Counseling (ACC) a D/B/A of CSN is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP*) on a contractual basis. The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner will primarily conduct outpatient therapy. However, they must be willing to complete Functional Behavioral Assessments. Additionally, candidates who have prior experience with developmental disabilities would be preferred and recommended.

Who we are and what we do: ACC provides outpatient mental health services that enhance an individual’s social, psychological, emotional and intellectual well-being in order to support them in achieving their quality of life goals. Outpatient services consist of: individual, family and couples therapy. The clinical team at ACC has a diverse background in supporting adolescents, adults and families in meeting their mental health needs. Therapeutic methods includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavior Modification. Furthermore, our experience and education has allowed us to develop a special focus in developing services for those with more disabling mental illness with concurrent intellectual/developmental disability diagnoses.
Responsibilities include: Completing intakes of individuals for outpatient therapy, providing individual counseling and crisis intervention, and developing clinically sound treatment plans. Contracted therapist would also be in the rotation of completing Functional Behavioral Assessments. Additionally, the contracted LIMHP will be responsible for managing records and documentation for their caseload and submitting to appropriate person(s) in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualified applicants must meet the following:
-Licensed, in good standing, as a Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) - will consider provisionally licensed
-Prefer 3+ years of experience in the field of mental health, traumatic brain injury, and/or intellectual and developmental disability services
-Carry professional liability insurance
-Willing to learn and physically capable of implementing crisis intervention techniques
